Everyone loves the blissy whale, so why not make your own oragami variety? I find oragami a fun thing to do with my older preschooler. She needs a bit of help but loves the precision, the shiny paper and the results which she plays with for hours.

Take a square of paper and fold two opposite sides over so they meet.

Fold the tips over to meet at the middle.

Fold the paper along the centre fold and fold up the tail.

Make a short cut through the end of the tail and fold edges outwards.

You can draw eyes and fins if you like.

Hello Mr Whale!
